What is “Fuji Subaru Land”
A place for all the family to have a great time!
It is located approximately 5 minutes by car from Kawguchiko Interchange. (Free shuttle bus service is available from Kawaguchiko Sta.) The theme park is vast, 100,000 square meters situated deep in nature, and there are 2 sections; one of them is the “Forest park” section that has many attractions that are great for adults and children. The other section is named “Doggy park” where can bring your own dog, and they also have some kinds of dogs that can play and walk around with you.
Attractions area “Forest Park”
The attraction area “Forest Park” is where couples or families can enjoy.
There are variety of attractions in this section, such as “Putting Golf”,” “Fairy’s house”, “Bokkuru’s Forest 3D maze”,”Fujinosuke’s Buggy Land”.
I will introduce some characteristic attractions among them.
“Roll Glider”
The attraction called “Roll Glider” that is a new attraction makes its first appearance in Japan!
The attraction is gliding on a curving course with a rotating pulley, and you wear the harness only for Roll Glider.
Enjoy the Roll Glider filled with thrills in deep nature.
“Bokkuru’s 3D Maze”
This attraction is a 5 stories huge maze. There are some tricks in this maze!
This maze is really large and complex, so run around and look for an exit! The exit is on the 5th floor. Incidentally, it is a complicated maze which defeats even adults.
“Fujinosuke’s Buggy Land”
The buggy runs on rough road at full speed. The attraction is popular to play for both children and adults.
The merits of this attraction are driving around a 400 meters off-road course on a buggy.
You will really feel a great sense of achievement and refreshed feeling.
Besides this, it is full of fun attractions where you can waste a day! “Jumbo Side”, “Athletic area”, “Sky trampoline”, “Putting Golf”, “Spinning Forest Adventure”, “Nature Experience Base Acorn course”.
Dog area is called “ Doggy Park”
The Doggy Park has a variety of facilities and activity spaces for dogs.
The place is really popular among Japanese who have dogs, they can bring own dogs and play with them in this park area. If you come to Japan from abroad, it is difficult to bring your dog in Japan. But here is alright! Because they have some rental dogs in the park. You can walk around this area with your favorite one!
What is “Dogikko”?
Rental dogs section is most popular in this section.
You can rent a dog which is called “Dogikko”, and walk around the park section with your favorite one.
This section is for the people who can’t have a dog in their house. So, everybody can freely touch and play with Dogikko. For visitors from abroad who are missing their own dog, it might help to ease for a moment the loneliness that you can’t be with your own dog.
Besides that, “Touch and Feel House” is also popular, you can play with variety of dogs there.
“Dog Run Plaza”
There are five areas inside the park, the area is named “Multi-purpose Dog Run”, “Woods Dog Run”, “Wood chips Dog Run”, “Maze Dog Run”, “Forest Dog Run” where guests can play freely with your dogs without leashes.
Especially the Wood Chips Dog Run has the relaxing effective for dogs, the Hinoki wood chips cushion effect absorbs shock for dog’s legs.
Enjoy the spacious field surrounded by greenery provides a fun and unique environment for you and your dogs.
Enjoy BBQ in Nature
BBQ in the forest is also popular among groups and families. You can enjoy authentic outdoor BBQ in deep nature.
There are various theme parks in Japan, but there are not many spots where you can enjoy attractions while feeling nature like "Fuji Subaru Land". When you visit Fujikawaguchiko, Fuji Subaru Land is a must-see!
