Arakurayama Sengen Park
Arakurayama Sengen Park in Fujiyosida city, Yamanashi prefecture is the most famous place where you can see Mt Fuji, cherry blossoms and a five-story pagoda in Spring.
It’s located from 650 to 850 meters above sea level, at the Northern foot of Mt.Fuji Viewing from here is really fascinating for tourists.
The pagoda is called ‘Chureito’忠霊塔 among locals.
When I was a child, I usually went there in spring, and had a small party with my family whilst viewing Cherry blossoms. The place was known to those in the know among local people.
But now this place is the most famous tourist place in Japan, therefore you can’t avoid crowds of tourists from all over the world.
So now I kindly recommend you to go there in the early morning when it is not crowded, and you can clearly see Mt.Fuji more than anything!
